Who are you and why are you starting a blog in 2025?

I’m Adam, father to a 4 month baby girl and a street/documentary photographer based in North London.

I’m starting a blog for a couple of reasons:

(1) To cut through the algorithms: I’ve noticed that I miss a lot of work from people due to the algorithms favouring others, which I can only assume works both ways. This should help keep you updated with my latest work and thoughts.

(2) Formalise and share my learnings: I've found that writing down what I've learned helps me organise and retain information. Therefore by blogging about it here, I can reinforce my understanding while also sharing these insights with you. Win-win!

What do you plan on blogging about?

I plan to write about my thoughts on photography, books, zines and anything broadly related. It will be a bit more of a casual read, an alternative to YouTube and Podcasts.
